Sisalation® Residential Vapawrap® Wall Wrap is designed for Australia’s colder regions, providing a vapour-permeable membrane that helps manage condensation. It offers up to 8 weeks of UV resistance, allowing internal construction to continue before the external façade is installed. Suitable for lightweight cladding like fibre cement sheets, weatherboard, timber, and brick veneer constructions, it complies with AS/NZS 4200.1 standards as a water barrier and vapour-permeable membrane. This lightweight, flexible membrane is made from resilient non-woven fabric and helps reduce draughts, enhancing the performance of bulk insulation. When overlapped and sealed with 3M Seaming Tape, it provides an extra layer of protection against moisture, vapour, wind, and dust, safeguarding the building frame from rain and dust penetration. It is suitable for walls with a BAL rating of 0-FZ per AS 3959-2009 standards. Use 3M Seaming Tape (code: 4006809) to seal wrap joins, ensuring moisture resistance and weather tightness.
